The Eventsquid system offers two ways to handle guests of registrants, a simple method and full guest method.
The Simple "Plus X" Method prompts the main registrant for the name of their guests and optionally some very basic information you ask for. This is done immediately prior to checkout/registration completion. Very limited information is collected on the simple guest.
The Full Guest method requires the primary registrant to either 1) register each guest or 2) invite each guest to register themselves. The entire registration form and registration selections will need to be completed for each guest. As such, a full set of reporting is available for each guest.
The system also offers other methods:
Bulk Registration is used when you want to offer the ability for someone (who is not attending the event/participating in the competition) to pre-purchase several registrations and proceed to fill those registrations by registering or inviting others to register.
Modified Attendee Limit Count can be used when you simply want to count each number of an item ordered towards your attendee count. Think of this as allowing a registrant to by "tickets" with each representing an attendee but you don't need names, etc associated with each.
