With Eventsquid, you have the ability to display the logos of your sponsors on the homepage of your event website in an organized fashion.
The Sponsor Logo tool (within the website builder) is used to create a presentable sponsorship page for your event, which can include logos, company names and other information. Below, you can see sponsors are displayed in two different areas of your site:
- Event home page (left image)
- Sponsorship page (right image)
On your main sponsorship page, sponsors are organized by what we call "level", which is a construct you make up in the builder. For example, you might have a "Platinum Level" with a 1 or 2 sponsors and a "Silver Level" with 3-5 sponsors. It's up to you to organize your sponsors how you see fit!
You can include additional information on your sponsors, (such as a link to the sponsor's website), along with the logo.
Before you begin, be sure you have the following for your sponsors:
- Good quality logo (jpg, png). Try to start with a square image (if your logo is long, for example, have white above and below to make a square). We will scale the logo to 200 wide x 200 tall.
- Sponsor information (e.g., name, contact, website, main email, etc)
If you don't have them all, don't worry you can always add them later!
CREATE SPONSOR LEVELS
The first step to adding sponsors is level creation. Go to the Website section of the Event Builder and select Sponsor Logos from the Website Tools section on the righthand menu.
First, create a sponsor level by clicking on +NEW EVENT SPONSOR LEVEL
Enter the sponsor level name (e.g., Platinum, Gold, etc.) and a description (optional). Set how many sponsor logos at this level, whether you want to link to the sponsors website and if you want to display the logos in color or black and white.
So now you have your levels (you can always add more with the big blue + NEW SPONSOR LEVEL button at the upper right of the page), it's time to add sponsor logos.
For each level, you'll see a rectangular module. You can edit the information of the level itself (i.e. Gold) and add sponsors, using the right-side button +Add Sponsor. To see the sponsor logos you have already added to this particular level, click the Show Sponsors button and a box will drop out of the bottom of the panel, revealing the logos you've added.
MANUAL SPONSOR ADD
When adding a sponsor you can search to see if your sponsor is already in the system. Make sure you click the Show All button. If the sponsor doesn't appear in your list, click the "I don't see my sponsor. Add now" link and you'll have the opportunity to manually add your new sponsor.
If you do see that your sponsor is already in the system, just click the drop-down to reveal the sponsorship levels you already created in the prior step!
SPONSORSHIP ADD THROUGH REGISTRATION
An alternative method to adding sponsorships to your event is to build in a pathway for them within your registration form. This way, all the work is off your back - as your sponsors register, our system will catch them and add them to your organization's list of sponsors. Then, you can simply add them to a level using the tool we just reviewed.
To accomplish this, create your registration items in the Exhibitor Registration section. When your sponsor attendees sign up, they will be prompted to create a new organization account and upload their logo - they will then be added to the system and you can find them later!
