You can set a specific date and time for a registration item.
Use this feature for when the date and time for a registration is meaningful and necessary. For example, you are having a multi-day event and have activities/sessions taking place on a specific day and time. You want registrants to see the day/time for scheduling purposes.
You wouldn't want to use this feature where the registration item takes place within the total event timeframe. For example, the seminar is 1 day from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and your item is "seminar registration".
Once the date and time is set for an item, you can add the registration item to the main agenda/schedule easily. When registrants select items with dates and times, the will appear on the registrant's personal agenda.
In the EVENT BUILDER, click on Items on the left and select Times for Attendee Items from the Item Tools menu on the right.
Set the dates and times for as many items as you need. You can then add the item to the agenda/schedule by selecting the name of your agenda and clicking "Update Agenda"
USING Make item inactive 24 hours after end date passes
This setting is used most often by organizations hosting a class or seminar that is offered on multiple separate occasions. Each of these separate occasions would be set as registration items. The event host could set those registration items to "expire" once the date passes.
My company is offering a class "how to pick an unforgettable menu for your next event" and we are holding the class on 4 separate occasions
By checking Make item inactive 24 hours after end date passes for each of the items, they will not be available for registration AFTER the date passes.
This allows you to use one event website to serve multiple "mini" events.
