On our hobby and sports sites, users will see the option to select STANDARD vs SERIES. If there are existing series events, there will be a third option to JOIN A SERIES. Series are covered in a separate area of our help website. The title of your event should be short and sweet!
If you need to transfer ownership of this event to another account you have on the system, you'll see the organizations you manage in the dropdown. Just change the owner and the event will now appear in that organization's dashboard. You can modify the name that appears beneath the title of your event by changing the default value that appears in the CUSTOM HOST NAME field.
If you have a total body count that represents the maximum number of registrants that can attend your event, enter that number here.
PRIVATE vs. OPEN
If your event is open, there will be no requirement for the user to enter their email address to gain access to your registration form (they will be asked for their email address AFTER the form opens). When you make an event private/invitational, you can protect it from unwanted registrants with an access code or a private list of invitees.
USING A PRIVATE LIST
If you use a private list, each registrant will be prompted to enter their email address. If it matches what is on your list, they may continue to the registration form. For more information on invitation lists, access that section of our help site.
USING AN ACCESS CODE
If you use an access code, there is a risk that registrants can pass it around to others. If you do not believe that is a large risk, the access code is less involved than creating and uploading an invitation list.
