What are you offering and to whom?
Before you dive into creating registration items, think about the types of registrants who will be at your event and make sure you have a good handle on what you want people to sign up for and what you want to offer as part of your event.
Eventsquid typically organizes your registrants into three types: attendees, exhibitors/sponsors, and spectators (general ticket holders).
Attendees are your main registrants. Depending on your Eventsquid site, they may be referred to as archers, golfers, athletes or simply attendees. These are the people who are registering for your event and may or may not have the ability to attach "guests" to their registrations. Attendees will typically register for classes, sign up for your conference or simply let you know they are attending your gala.
Exhibitors/Sponsors are organizations or individuals who play a different role at your event. Exhibitors may be purchasing a booth or a table to promote their products at your event. Sponsors may purchase packages to help fund the event in exchange for promotional opportunities (e.g., signage at the event, logo on event materials, etc)
If your event will have Spectators, you may want to offer general tickets.
Through Eventsquid, not only can you offer items for people to register for, but you can sell merchandise (e.g., t shirts, mugs, etc.), collect donations, services and just about anything that fits with your event.
