UPLOAD A LIST
You may upload a spreadsheet with your list of invitees. As long as your field names are correctly named and in the correct order, you may have records with blank values for things like "ProfileName", "SourceName" and "SubAccountLimit". Here are the fields and their meanings:
Email: This is required.
Firstname: This is required.
Lastname: This is required.
ProfileName: These correspond to any registration profiles you created. The names in this field should correspond EXACTLY to the names you entered into the registration profile settings. By including this information, our system will automatically funnel the registrant into the proper profile simply based on the registrant's email address. OPTIONAL.
SourceName: This is for internal use to track how the invitee was included on the list. OPTIONAL.
SubAccountLimit: This amount governs the number of family members this invitee can register (provided you have activated family member registration in the TURN ON/OFF REGISTRATION area. Leaving this value blank indicates no limit.
HOW YOUR LIST LOOKS
We have pixelated the screen below to hide invitee information but you can see from the list that following an upload you are able to modify the registrant profile, source and family limit for each invitee. You are free to add individual invitees without uploading additional spreadsheets.
The list will track declined invitations, no RSVP invitees and registered invitees.
SENDING AN INVITATION
The moment you check one or more invitees in your list, a SEND INVITATION button appears in the button row. Clicking this launches the invitation window. The form is self-explanatory and provides only two options:
- You can link the invitation to either your event website or to the registration form directly (which bypasses the informational website you created).
- If you are worried about whether your invitee's email application can handle buttons and formatting, just check the "Simple White" option.
