The Eventsquid system will capture incomplete or "abandoned" registrations. These are available to you on your EVENT DASHBOARD by clicking on the INCOMPLETE button.
It is normal to see registrations on this list and you can use it to provide insights into your event and potentially capture a "lost" registration or two (see TIPS below)
A registrant will appear on the "incomplete" list when they start registration (and get past the personal information section) and do not complete registration (through payment screen).
It is important to note that a registrant being on the "incomplete" list in no way prohibits a registrant from completing their registration themselves.
Among other bits of information, the system will show the last screen/section the registrant was on before they abandoned the registration, a registration log and the ability to register that person.
TIPS:
- If you notice the majority of incomplete registrations reach the payment screen, it may indicate an issue with pricing for your event or payment options.
- Through the Communication Center, you can email the registrants who did not complete registration by selecting "incomplete" as the LIST TYPE (if you know the person doesn't want to be contacted, you can set that in the Email Status of the incomplete list). You can ask them if they need help registering or you can even provide a coupon code as an incentive for them to complete registration!
