Credit Assignment Grid
The primary function of the Credit Assignment Grid is to assign Credit Categories and values to registration items. You are able to assign one or more Credit Categories to a single registration item and assign values.
Additionally, you can bind an Eventsquid Survey to a registration item that can become an Award Criteria for issuing credits.
Lastly, you can set self-check-in and self-check-out codes for sessions within the grid.
Education Credit Setup
In the Event Builder, click the Registration tab atop the screen then click Credit Assignment Grid on the left.
You will see all of your registration items. If you want to limit the list only to those items with a date and time assigned, click the dropdown showing "All items" and select "Show only time-based items".
To assign a Credit Category to a registration item, click the blue graduate button to the left of the item.
You will see a list of Credit Categories available for that registration item. The system will evaluate the definition of the Credit Category and the registration item in regards to Registration Profile definitions to determine availability. While multiple Credit Categories can be assigned to a single item, a single Credit Category can only be applied to a specific registration item once.
After the Credit Category is selected for the registration item, you will need to enter the number of credits to the right and click the green check to confirm. To add another Credit Category to a registration item, simply click the blue graduate button again.
You can remove a Credit Category or adjust the units anytime prior to awarding credits. After and Award Grant has been run for a category, you cannot remove it from a registration item or change the values.
Other Items
Within the Education Credit Setup Grid, you can bind surveys to sessions and add check-in and check-out codes.
If part of your award criteria is the completion of a survey for the overall event or a specific session, you can handle that through Eventsquid. You simply need to create the survey in Eventsquid and assign it to the applicable registration item(s) prior to running an Award Grant. You assign the survey to an item by clicking the dropdown in the survey column next to the registration item.
If you want your attendees to check themselves into sessions, you can set a check-in code (and check-out code if you require that as well). You may either enter the codes manually or click "Auto Create" atop the column and the system will generate random codes.
