Eventsquid provides email log data at various points within the system in order to help you verify when emails successfully deliver and when they are bounced.
EMAIL LOGS
In general, our email log utilities follow roughly the same structure/breakdown.
Each line represents an individual email, sent to one or many recipients. For each email, click the VIEW button on the right to see the content that was sent.
You can also click the SUCCESS and FAIL numbers in the middle to see which emails were successfully delivered and which failed (if any).
For failed deliveries, the logs will provide you with a reason as to why (such as "bounce"). To view an explanation for each possible failure reason, click HERE.

DASHBOARD - COMMUNICATION CENTER
Perhaps the most often-used email log in our system, the Communication Center on the Dashboard does provide a log of past emails sent from our system. To access, visit the Event Dashboard, then click the Communication Center tab at the top of the page. Then, select the MESSAGE LOG button at the top.
DASHBOARD - REGISTRANT DETAILS PANEL
You can view the success/failure of any notice sent to an individual registrant. This can be very useful if a someone is wondering why they haven't received their confirmation email, for instance.
To access, go to the Event Dashboard. Click the name of your event, then click the Registered Attendees button to open the list of active registrants. Then, click the name of the registrant. On the left, you will see a tab called EMAIL LOG.
EVENT BUILDER - EVENT BASICS
The Notification Log in the Event Basics section of the Event Builder will show email notices that are automatically triggered to admins.
The following types of notices are logged in this section:
- Third Party Notifications (configured in the Builder)
- Event Host Notifications
- System-Generated Registrant Notifications (i.e. Registration Confirmation, Application Approval, Deletion)
Notices logged in this section can be triggered based on the following categories of action:
- When a new registration comes in
- When a new application comes in
- When an application is approved
- When a registration/application is deleted
- When a registration is modified by the attendee
To access the admin notification log, enter the Event Builder and select the EVENT BASICS section at the top. Then click the Notification Log option on the left.
The dropdown in the top right corner of the log allows you to filter your list of notifications based on a specific action.
For example, you could filter all notifications/emails based on the action criteria of "New Registration". The resulting list below would show all email notices that were triggered by a new registration coming in. That list of notices could include:
- An email notice automatically sent to the host
- A Third Party notification
- The Registration Confirmation email sent to the registrant themselves
EVENT BUILDER - INVITATIONS
In the Invitation section of the Event Builder, you also have an email log. This is especially useful for events using the Invitation utility because it allows you to be proactive in handling failed deliveries. With intel from the logs, you can stay informed as to when and why certain emails may not be getting the invitation email, which can be critical to your event marketing strategy.
