Hyperlinking an image can come in handy, especially when you are designing a Custom Page in the Eventsquid system. With the freedom to design your own content, you may find that your page needs to provide attendees with a way to click images in an effort to visit another web destination.
Hyperlinking an image is quite easy; just follow the exact same steps as you would when creating a text-based hyperlink. For this example, I'm going to use a Custom Page.
BUILD AN IMAGE HYPERLINK // CUSTOM PAGE
First, enter the Event Builder. Then select the WEBSITE tab at the top. Click the CUSTOM PAGES option on the left.
Once generated, select the EDIT PAGE link on the right side of your new tab:
Within the Custom Page editor, you will see the WYSIWYG editor.
QUICK TIP: Each Custom Page provides you with two separate editors; one for mobile and one for desktop. Make sure to customize and save both of them separately, even if they provide the same content. In the Content Activation area, you can activate each independently.
To add an image, click the small image glyph in the editor menu:
Once the image is added, highlight the image and click the chain link glyph in the editor menu:
Simply paste in the link, then click SAVE! The image hyperlink is a great feature for giving your event pages some additional life and interactivity.
